The ERP Business Systems Specialist will implement and maintain financial systems, provide client training, conduct system analysis, manage data integrity, and recommend process improvements.
As an ERP Business / Financial Systems Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with experienced professionals to ensure the optimal configuration, integration, and ongoing maintenance of financial and operational software systems for clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to expand your skill set, dive into diverse business processes, and deliver strategic insights for organizations across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- System Implementation: Execute the end-to-end implementation of software solutions. You will evaluate client systems, map out integration plans, collect and prepare data, and ensure a smooth transition to new platforms.
- Client Consultation & Training: Collaborate with team leads to consult clients on best-fit solutions. You will provide clear, effective training and user support to ensure successful software adoption.
- Systems Analysis: Conduct in-depth examinations of client business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Recommend enhancements or alternative software solutions that streamline workflows and strengthen data integrity.
- Data Management & Integrity: Take ownership of data accuracy across integrated systems. You will monitor data flows, troubleshoot integration issues and ensure financial and operational information is reliable and error-free.
- Custom Reporting & Analytics: Develop and customize reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide clients with a clear view of their financial and operational health, empowering them to make data-driven decisions.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies in existing systems or processes. Stay current with emerging tools and software updates to recommend enhancements that improve client efficiency and scalability.
- Continuous Learning: Keep pace with the evolving landscape of cloud-based financial and operational software. You will remain curious and proactive, sharing insights with both clients and team members
Qualifications
- We are open to exceptional recent graduates with a strong, demonstrable aptitude for this work
- A solid foundation in one of the following fields would be a plus: Accounting, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Engineering.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in or comfort with client-facing interactions.
- The ability to document complex processes in a clear and accessible manner.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies. Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Xero, CIN7, Odoo, HubSpot) is a major plus.
- Excellent project management skills—you are a 'finisher' who can manage timelines and deliverables effectively.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
