Support planning and execution of events from brief through execution. Maintain timelines, production decks, guest lists, RSVPs, and vendor/venue research across major US markets. Coordinate with VP, Event Manager, VIP and PR teams, manage invitation systems, create photographer shot lists, and handle ad hoc event tasks.
PURPLE is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team and help plan and execute a wide range of events. The Event Coordinator works directly with the Vice President and the Manager of Events in a supportive role. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and thrives under pressure, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for producing memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the coordination of projects from initial brief through concept development to final execution, under the guidance of the VP and Manager.
· Support and work collaboratively with the VIP and PR teams.
· Coordinate and support with the planning and execution of events based on the scope of work set out from the client and senior team.
· Assist Event Manager with day-to-day event coordination and logistics by updating and maintaining event timelines and production decks.
· Support with the creation of event briefings, photographer shot lists and face sheets,
· Research and document potential new event venues, new restaurant openings, and vendors across all major markets including New York, Miami and Los Angeles.
· Research and document potential event sponsors.
· Update and maintain US cultural events calendar.
· LaunchMetrics invitation and list creation, invitation distribution, RSVP tracking and inbox management.
· Use of software platforms including Wearisma as needed for event list creation and social tracking.
· AD Hoc projects as necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1-2 years’ experience in events, including hands-on internship, in similar role and/or department.
· Knowledge of film/tv, fashion and influencer talent, pop culture and current industry trends, and the ability to contribute strategically to event guest lists.
· Experience with LaunchMetrics (Fashion GPS)
· Ambitious with a strong work ethic and a passion for working in events.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Attention to detail is essential.
· Self-starter who takes ownership and initiative.
· Ability to work independently and to think creatively.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
