Events Marketing Manager

CreatorIQ is currently seeking an Events Marketing Manager to help grow the Events Marketing Program. Working with the other members of the Events Marketing Team, the successful candidate will contribute to the planning, organization, and execution of diverse events aimed at promoting CreatorIQ and elevating brand awareness.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for crafting unforgettable brand experiences, combined with exceptional organizational and communication skills. A high-level understanding of the integrated marketing ecosystem is essential. The role is suited for a candidate with a strong foundation in event marketing strategy, relationship building, and meticulous attention to detail.

This is a unique opportunity for a marketing professional to have a hand in all aspects of a dynamic events marketing program, including owned, paid and earned events across North America and Europe; with the intention of owning and growing a defined segment of our event program.

As an Events Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, Events (based in San Diego) and partner with the Events Manager (based in Orlando) on a busy calendar of owned, paid and earned events, in-person and virtual for CreatorIQ. By promoting the CreatorIQ brand through events, you will have a chance to shape our current strategy while flexing your creativity for unforgettable experiences that drive real business value.

What you will do:

  • Event Planning and Execution: In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously planning and flawlessly executing a variety of events, such as summits, trade shows, client engagements, webinars, and executive speaking opportunities. Your primary objective will be to orchestrate impactful and memorable events that yield tangible results.
  • EventProduction: You will assume ownership of managing the production for our owned marketing events. This encompasses tasks such as identifying and collaborating with vendors, curating the event experience, overseeing invitations and meeting selection processes, and ensuring a cohesive branding and messaging strategy across all event collateral.
  • Communication Management: As part of this position, you will be tasked with managing communication initiatives associated with events across various channels, including email, social media, website, and internal tools. Your duties may involve crafting compelling copy, coordinating design efforts, managing contact lists, and producing other relevant outputs to promote events and drive registration.
  • Post-Event Reporting: You will be responsible for generating comprehensive post-event reports and offering recommendations aimed at achieving defined team and business objectives. Your insights and analysis will play a crucial role in shaping future event strategies and optimizing outcomes.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between events and broader marketing goals and campaigns. Your ability to foster effective collaboration will be instrumental in maximizing the collective impact of our efforts across the organization.

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing event planning, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • As an event aficionado, you know the devil is in the details! You pride yourself on your project management and can move projects along to tight deadlines.
  • You are organized with excellent multitasking and task prioritization skills.
  • You thrive in a dynamic and busy but rewarding work environment. You can work to personally bring an event to life, knowing that you have the full support of your team.
  • You are adaptable and solutions-focused if projects have to pivot at the last minute due to the constraints of the ever-evolving pandemic.
  • You are a skilled communicator and easily build relationships with vendors, suppliers, and teammates for productive conversations and business outcomes.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for creating unique and engaging event experiences.
  • A desire to learn and grow in marketing, coupled with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to dive into new projects.
  • A passion for Influencer Marketing or social media - not required but a plus!
  • Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. Have 50% of the criteria? Excited about this opportunity? Passionate about what we do at CreatorIQ? Please apply! CreatorIQ is a place where everyone can grow.

What you will get from us:

  • People: work with talented, collaborative, and friendly people who love what they do.

An Insider's view of CreatorIQ

What are some social events your company does?

CreatorIQ does such a great job of getting the team together! In this remote world, so many of us come from all over and CIQ makes it a point to invite everyone. My favorite events include: a Zoom flower arrangement class, mini golf with the team, and learning how to properly play ping pong!

What does your typical day look like?

My day starts with trainings. Then I review slack channels and emails. I continue my day by working on product solutions for the platform, doing research, brainstorming with the team, and writing down actual feature requirements. After lunch, close to the evening, I have several meeting to finish my day.

How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

I make myself available by fostering a culture of transparency and reliability. If my team asks for something, I respond quickly to either address the concern or provide a timeline for doing so. I never put myself above my team—I make it clear that we're all in this together, and their time is every bit as valuable as my own.

I like to think my managers enforce the work-life balance that I have at CreatorIQ.
