Job Description

The Events & Partnerships Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of all events, retreatments and partner activations at The Class—owning project management from pre-production and logistics to onsite execution and thoughtful post-event wrap. This role ensures every experience, whether intimate or large-scale, reflects the aesthetic, emotional resonance, and operational excellence of The Class and is aligned to the goals and standards of our world class partners.

In addition to leading events, this role also owns the internal  project management for brand partnership  and retail deliverables working hand in hand with  cross-functional teams across  digital, marketing, creative and studios to ensure all stakeholders are informed, projects are delivered smoothly, and internal communication is clear.. 

This is a highly collaborative, operational, and hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, possesses exceptional project management skills and is energized by crafting meaningful experiences for a passionate community of students, Teachers, facilitators, and thought leaders.

Reporting to the SVP of Global Partnerships, the Events & Partnerships Account Manager will play a crucial role in bringing The Class’s brand to life through curated collaborations and experiential activations. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Event Production & Management

  • Lead end-to-end planning and on-site execution for all Class events, including sponsored Classes, retreats, pop-ups, residencies and festivals

  • Build and manage event timelines, budgets, production documents, vendor lists, and run-of-shows.

  • Coordinate talent, vendors, internal teams, and onsite staff to ensure smooth execution.

  • Guide onsite production including setup, flow, technical needs, sound, lighting, guest experience, and breakdown.

  • Maintain and evolve event processes, templates, checklists, and production systems.

  • Manage all internal communications, timelines, and resource dependencies working closely with the marketing, creative, digital and studio teams. 

Partnership Management:

  • Support and manage strategic brand partnerships that align with The Class’s mission and growth objectives.

  • Act as the first line of intake for partnership inquiries by managing the partnerships inbox, reviewing incoming emails, tracking opportunities, and routing requests appropriately.

  • Vet new partnership opportunities through initial research, exploratory calls, and internal alignment—assessing brand fit, feasibility, and value for The Class.

  • Assist in preparing partnership overviews, pitch materials, decks, and mood boards as needed.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of co-branded initiatives.

  • Track and manage deliverables to ensure contractual commitments are met on time and at a high standard and ensure all activations are executed to the highest standard and deliver measurable impact.

  • Oversee invoicing and administrative needs for select partnerships, including generating invoices, monitoring payment status, and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • Partner with internal team members across marketing, product, experience and studio to ensure that project deliverables are properly communicated, resourced, and delivered aligned to the timelines and expectations of the partnerships.

  • Build and maintain shared organizational systems for partnership contacts, opportunities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure all stakeholders, internal and external, are aligned and informed.

Brand Storytelling & Amplification:

  • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure partnerships and events are effectively promoted across all channels.

  • Identify innovative ways to integrate partners into The Class’s brand ecosystem, enhancing both brand equity and revenue opportunities.

  • Analyze performance metrics to assess impact and continuously refine strategy.

Ecommerce:

  • Manage the e-commerce Open-to-Buy (OTB), supporting inventory planning and forecasting in line with revenue and margin targets

  • Own backend Shopify operations, including product setup, pricing, inventory accuracy, collections, and launch execution

  • Partner with the 3PL to oversee inbound inventory, order fulfillment, shipping performance, and issue resolution

  • Manage e-commerce customer service, ensuring a timely, thoughtful, and on-brand post-purchase experience

  • Track and report on core e-commerce KPIs, flagging risks and opportunities related to sell-through, inventory health, and operations

  • Support ideation and product development for Class-branded merchandise, collaborating cross-functionally to bring products from concept through launch with e-commerce readiness in mind

What you’ve done: 

  • 3+ years of experience managing complex projects or accounts within events, partnerships, hospitality, wellness, retail, or a related field

  • Led end-to-end execution of events, activations, or experiential programs, balancing multiple stakeholders, timelines, and moving parts

  • Served as a primary point of contact for partners, clients, or collaborators—ensuring clear communication, follow-through, and strong working relationships

  • Supported cross-functional teams (marketing, creative, operations, talent) to bring concepts from planning through execution

  • Experience creating thoughtful, high-touch guest or customer experiences that reflect a strong brand point of view

Location

This role is based in NYC and requires quarterly travel domestically and globally.

Compensation & Benefits

The approximate salary range for this full-time salaried position is $75,000 - $95,000 plus benefits. The exact salary offered may vary based on job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education and training, business needs and market demands.
