As the Executive Assistant to the President and the Chief Creative Officer of The Dodo, you’ll be part of the largest dedicated animal brand on social media. You’ll join intelligent and passionate people all working to make the best, most engaging content out there for animal lovers – content that entertains, uplifts, and also makes a difference by empowering people to help animals in need.

This position provides executive administrative support to the President and the Chief Creative Officer of The Dodo. Responsibilities include general support as well as administrative duties such as maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings, conference calls, video conferences, and events. Additional responsibilities include reconciling invoices, preparing expense reports; arranging travel (work and personal); conducting research; fielding miscellaneous office-related requests; some personal tasks (such as ordering/picking up lunch) and other ad hoc projects as needed.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize as well as to maintain confidential and sensitive information, a collaborative and friendly work style, and a good sense of humor.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of high level executive administration work experience at senior level or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent, sound judgment
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and execute against multiple projects and deadlines, while prioritizing projects appropriately
  • Demonstrated trustworthiness and an ability to handle confidential information
  • Exceptional assessment and organizational skills; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (ability to create Keynote slides a plus)
  • Passion and interest in the digital media industry generally, and in The Dodo specifically
  • A soft spot for animals!
