About the Role
A dynamic NYC-based trading firm is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join its growing accounting team
Responsibilities will primarily include, though are not limited to, the following:
- Bookkeeping
- Management of accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with monitoring and maintaining appropriate financial controls, policies and procedures to support existing operations and continued growth
- Maintaining accounting filing system
- Budgeting and statement reconciliation
- Reconciling monthly expenses
- Assisting with annual audit, monthly close and reporting packages
- Internal reporting support
- Reviewing and improving internal processes
- Ad-hoc report preparations and projects
About You
Organization, superior attention to detail, and ability to multitask are required. Ability to think quickly and work in a high-pressure environment are a must. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Relevant experience is a plus, but not required. Strong ability to work with spreadsheets and databases, knowledge of accounting software, and general computer literacy are required.
Annual Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000. Base salary does not include discretionary bonus, if eligible, or benefits.
Please note that this position is based on site in our Financial District office.
