Role Overview
As a Facility Manager at Sound Collective, you will play a critical role in overseeing the operational and strategic aspects of our facilities. You will ensure that the environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to productivity, while managing budgets, vendor relationships, and maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety.
- Develop and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial plans.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, liaising with vendors and contractors to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Implement and manage space planning strategies to optimize the use of facility resources.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and maintain a high standard of appearance and functionality.
- Lead and mentor facility staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on operational excellence.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct training to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
- Manage software and hardware updates
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in facility management or a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of building systems and maintenance practices.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and optimizing operational costs.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) software
- Experience with Music Production, studio Gear, and software
- Experience with DJ Equipment and software
- Proficient in using facility management software
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating facility performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
