Base salary: $200K to $325K

Moment builds next-generation trading and portfolio management technology. Our core product suite includes high-throughput market data pipelines, automated smart order routing algorithms, real-time portfolio ledgering and position tracking, and high-cardinality portfolio optimization.

Founded in 2023 by a team of quant traders and researchers from Citadel and Jane Street, we’ve raised over $100M from Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, and now power mission-critical workflows for financial institutions with over $8T+ in assets.

We’re looking for exceptional Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), hybrid builders, product thinkers, and GTM operators, to join our NYC team. FDEs at Moment work directly with our largest customers across every stage of the lifecycle: pre-sale solutioning, implementation, and post-sale growth.

Think of this role as an embedded “mini-cofounder” for our clients: deeply technical, relentlessly curious, and obsessed with helping customers win. You’ll be responsible for understanding client workflows, crafting custom demos and proof-of-concepts, driving launches, and identifying expansion opportunities, all while feeding insights back into our product roadmap.

This is an extremely cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and business development.

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for new customers, including tailored demos and POCs.

• Translate client needs into clear product requirements and integration plans.

• Own the delivery and rollout of Moment’s products from implementation planning to on-site launch.

• Partner with business development to drive adoption, usage, and expansion within existing accounts.

• Build lightweight tools, prototypes, or internal scripts to accelerate customer deployments.

• Create repeatable processes for demos, documentation, and onboarding.

• Act as a product SME, helping customers and internal teams understand what’s possible with Moment.

• Synthesize customer feedback into product insights and champion new product opportunities.

• Prior experience in fintech, trading systems, or enterprise SaaS.

• Experience in a customer-facing engineering, solutions, or technical product role.

• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, or modern API design.
