Rapidly growing mid-sized law firm is seeking an Estates and Trust Fiduciary Accountant to join the firm’s growing Estates and Trusts practice.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Project Management of accountings.
- Preparation and review of Estate and Trust accountings (formal and informal).
- Preparation and review of Trustee and Executor commissions.
- Preparation of proposed distributions.
- Coordination with the Estate administration department to produce waiver and consent submissions.
- 706 preparation.
- Maintaining annual accounts and records for Estates and Trusts.
- Data analytics and skillful problem-solving.
- Client communications and Coordination with their other advisors.
- 1041 preparation is a plus, but not required.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in tax or accounting.
- CPA preferred, but not required.
- Prior experience managing engagements.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to work independently, but also work well with others.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong technology skills (the firm relies heavily on technology because the office is paperless).
- Prior experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Fiduciary Accounting software (used to be called Zains) is preferred.
