What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and execute an integrated plan for driving attendance at each event and trade show; including hosting an internal kickoff, booth and overall onsite experience, staffing, on-site logistics, and internal alignment on goals

  • Partner with demand generation on pre- and post-event campaign promotion and follow up

  • Organize and execute high-impact, customer-focused events to build engagement

  • Ensure all event logistics, services, and shipping are handled on time and within budget

  • Partner with content lead to plan necessary content for speaking sessions

  • Analyze and report on the impact of your event programs, evaluate KPIs and optimize the programs based on insights and key learnings to drive continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of proven experience in B2B event marketing (open source, enterprise software, SaaS, Security, etc.)

  • Experience and comfortability with reporting and communicating event efforts and impact across the organization

  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with tight deadlines

  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral

  • A positive attitude, with a maniacal attention to detail and strong project management skills

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous process improvement

  • Technology start-up experience preferred
