🎯 Our Mission

At Pulley, we are on a mission to help construction teams break ground faster. The United States is short between 4-7 million homes while housing production and affordability remain near historic lows. Meanwhile, retail and office real estate are still adapting to the post-pandemic world and the AI boom has led to significant investments in data center infrastructure.

Permitting requirements vary vastly by jurisdiction, making it challenging to navigate for home builders, retailers, architects and contractors. It creates a critical bottleneck that every project must traverse. While the industry remains largely fragmented and underserved, we believe that combining cutting-edge software with permitting expertise can condense permitting timelines from months to days or even hours!

🏗️ About Us

We are a passionate team building software for the built environment around us. Founded by Charlie Jacobson and Andreas Rotenberg in 2021, our team combines deep experience in real estate and construction with a track record of shipping software loved by millions of customers.

We’re backed by CRV, Susa Ventures, BoxGroup, Fifth Wall, Operator, South Park Commons, Suffolk Construction and leaders from Plaid, Segment, Procore, ServiceTitan, Built, BuildZoom, and eero.

🏠 What We’re Building

We’re building the world’s first software platform for construction permitting — for any project, in any city. Our north star is speed; everything we do is in the service of helping our customers get their permits as fast as possible.

We serve some of the top developers, builders, retailers and architects in the industry to permit new apartment buildings, office space, homes, stores and much more!

🧑‍💻 The Role

📋 What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute Pulley’s field marketing strategy across industry conferences, regional events, dinners, roadshows, and partner activations

  • Drive pre-, during-, and post-event velocity: building (with support from other marketers) outreach sequences, meeting booking, on-site presence, follow-up motion, and measurable pipeline contribution

  • Work directly with Sales to prioritize events, set clear goals, refine targeting, and track results in CRM

  • Design events that feel elevated, thoughtful, and on-brand — without breaking budget

  • Experiment with new formats that cut through the noise

  • Own the reporting: pipeline impact, meeting volume, and ROI for every event and program

🌟 Who You Are

  • Hands-on operator. You like running the playbook yourself, not handing it off.

  • Velocity-driven. You think in terms of speed, impact, and outcomes, not activities.

  • Self-starter in ambiguity. You can take a two-sentence idea and turn it into a fully executed field plan.

  • Creative thinker. You care about design, brand, and experience, and you want our events to feel different.

  • Builder mentality. You thrive in early-stage chaos and see opportunity in the blank spaces.

  • Partner to Sales. You know how to build trust with AEs and drive field execution as a team.

  • Data-aware. You track and communicate ROI with clarity.

  • Resourceful. When you don’t have something, you figure it out, invent it, or simplify it.

What You’ve Done

  • 3+ years in field marketing, events, demand gen, or GTM programs at a B2B SaaS or tech company.

  • Proven track record of generating pipeline and high-quality meetings through field programs.

  • Experience owning events end-to-end from idea to execution to follow-up.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with executives and customers.

  • Bonus: In the commercial real estate space.

Compensation Range: $100K - $140K
