About the Role

We’re looking for a Finance & Accounting Associate to join our growing team and work closely with our Head of Finance across a broad range of strategic and operational finance initiatives. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who enjoys both the analytical side of finance and the technical rigor of accounting.

You’ll play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis, monthly close activities, budgeting and forecasting, board reporting, and ad hoc strategic projects. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving problems, and is excited to help build and scale finance processes at a growing startup.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is eager to deepen their FP&A experience and gain exposure to high-impact finance initiatives across the business.

What You’ll Own:
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting, budgeting, KPI tracking, and financial modeling.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Finance on ad-hoc analyses and strategic finance initiatives.
  • Contribute to monthly close processes and support technical accounting workflows.
  • Maintain and improve financial models, dashboards, and reporting processes.
  • Help manage and optimize systems within the finance tech stack, including ERP and planning tools.
  • Support cross-functional teams and client-related financial analyses tied to climate initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency as the company scales.
What You Bring:
  • 3–5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting roles, ideally including experience at a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Exposure to both FP&A and accounting functions, with a strong technical accounting foundation.
  • Experience building and maintaining financial models and supporting budgeting or forecasting processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and finance tooling; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience implementing or optimizing AI-enabled workflows or systems within a finance tech stack.
  • Prior experience with tools such as NetSuite, Zoho, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to SaaS, climate tech, or startup operating environments.
  • Experience supporting board reporting or executive-level financial presentations.
  • International entity management experience.
