Position Summary

The Financial Analyst will oversee all day-to-day financial operations, liaison with Client Business Partner team, and support all other finance deliverables as related to revenue in conjunction with the Associate Director, Client Finance. Responsibilities include timely and accurate client revenue reporting, implementation of client onboarding and billing procedures, and adherence to Compliance policies.

Responsibilities

Collaboration:

  • Liaise with Operations and Accounting teams on data consolidation for monthly reporting.
  • Support Associate Director with monthly spend/revenue review with Client Business Partners by attending regular status meetings and managing meeting recap notes/follow-ups.
  • Weekly review of accounts receivables and aging reports to maintain integrity of vendor/client relationships.
  • Assist Billing Team with monthly compliance checks, preparation and tracking of credit memos.
  • Coordinate with Billing, Activation and Investment teams on opening SAP Product Codes.
  • Collaborate with Accounting team on reporting interagency revenue and/or payment requests.

Forecasting and Analysis:

  • Assist with monthly Month-end Close process including timely review of journal entries, variance analysis, and variance commentary.
  • Assist with monthly Flash reporting and quarterly forecast submissions to Senior Leadership.
  • Review and analyze monthly revenue by client versus projections to prepare commentary for Senior Leadership.

Compliance:

  • Ensure best practice and associated documentation (SOPs) are up to date and align with compliance policies.
  • Educate internal teams on financial/operational best practices related to client billing and financial reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience in a financial role is preferred, with budgeting and analysis responsibilities. Media experience is preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi task, high level of integrity, quick learner, a self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Highly proficient in MS Office products Excel, Power Point, and Access
  • Efficiency in VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PIVOTS, etc. in Excel
  • Experience with MBOX, Hyperion and SAP Vantage a plus
