About the role

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team supports the Executive team with performance analysis to enable strategic decision making, across markets, categories and channels. Within the wider team, the FP&A team delivers the analysis of the financial performance across the group, liaising directly with global markets to provide support to the Dyson Executive team.

You are a financial professional with an eye for detail and conscientious about data integrity whilst maintaining a pragmatic and flexible approach. Strong interpersonal and commercial skills are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management Reporting: Delivering timely and high-quality reporting packages to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Supports the development and management of annual budget and financial forecasts, while analyzing financial performance and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.   

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build relationships with Group Finance stakeholders to help drive consistency and standardisation in financial planning and reporting.

  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in reporting framework and utilizing automation tools or software to streamline reporting and analysis.

  • Support the team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in SQL and Tableau would be beneficial.

  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

  • An aptitude and strong appetite to develop systems and processes to drive efficiencies and benefit the business.

  • A flexible approach with strong organisational and prioritisation skills

  • High levels of commercial awareness to be able to interpret information and the ability to analyse data and trends.

  • Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with different markets worldwide.
