We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Finance to develop and deliver clear, engaging internal communications that support Firm priorities, business changes, and leadership messaging across multiple channels.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within Finance.

What you'll do in the role

  • Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm

  • Adhere to the Firm’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls

  • Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards

  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging internal communications that support Firm priorities, business changes, and leadership messaging across multiple channels

  • Gain experience with the end-to-end design and execution of employee communication, engagement, and formal programming such as open forums and networking events

  • Manage end-to-end communication execution, including drafting content, coordinating approvals, and maintaining a communication calendar to meet tight deadlines

  • Partner with senior leaders, HR, and business stakeholders to translate complex information into simple, employee-friendly messages

  • Ensure all communications reflect Firm tone, style, and brand standards, with strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail

What you'll bring to the role

  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables

  • Motivation to be accountable and deliver positive results

  • Independent, resourceful, and a self-starter

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • At least 3 years' relevant experience  with a Bachelor’s degree

Optional

  • Interest or familiarity with financial markets and products

  • Previous executive communications experience

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80, 000 and $115, 000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
