Role

The Finance Intern will support the Finance team in daily accounting and financial operations while gaining hands-on experience in finance. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to develop practical finance skills in a professional environment.

This is a temporary, summer position. The hourly rate for this role is $17.00.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance team with administrative work mainly sorting physical documents, and organizing files 
• Operate office scanners and document imaging software to convert paper records into secure digital formats.
• Review digital images for clarity, proper orientation, and completeness before archiving.
• Rename digital files using standard naming conventions and organize them logically into electronic document management systems.
• Assist the team with copying, data entry, shredding old documents, and retrieving requested files upon demand.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
• Must have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures.
• Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
• Conduct self in a professional manner always to reflect the high standards of Aman.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong academic record and interest in financial management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information securely.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and routinely lift and move boxes of paper (typically 10 – 15lbs.)
