  • Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs.
  • Design, develop, and optimize database schemas and complex SQL queries supporting core financial applications.
  • Manage databases to ensure high standards of data quality, security, and performance.
  • Implement and maintain ETL pipelines to efficiently process large datasets.
  • Develop and maintain backend systems using Python, creating robust, reusable, and scalable solutions.
  • Utilize frameworks and libraries for application development, data analysis, and processing.
  • Automate critical business workflows through the integration of Python-based tools with existing systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, including automated testing, code quality controls, release management, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure high standards of software quality, security, scalability, and operational excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for stakeholders across the organization.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading technology transformation initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced querying, database design, and optimization.
  • Proven full-stack development experience using Python and Angular or React.
  • Experience leading the modernization, migration, refactoring, or replacement of legacy business-critical systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of general ledger concepts, financial reporting processes, and finance-data controls.
  • Strong understanding of AUM-related data, reporting, and operational requirements within an asset-management or financial-services environment.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Prior experience within asset management or related financial services organizations.
