The Finance - Legal Entity Control Department at Marex plays a critical role by ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements. As part of a centralized Finance function, the team oversees key reporting, reconciliation, and governance processes across US legal entities, partnering closely with front office, risk, and operations to maintain transparency and integrity of financial information. This department not only provides strategic oversight and guidance to business units but also establishes the minimum required standards for financial practices, reinforcing Marex’s commitment to transparency, consistency, and operational excellence throughout its global footprint, while continuously enhancing efficiency and strengthening the control environment through process improvement and the adoption of automation and technology.

Purpose of Role

The Finance – Legal Entity Control Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and the execution of key control activities across Marex’s US legal entities. This role will focus on performing reporting, reconciliations, and control processes, ensuring that financial data is complete, accurate, and appropriately controlled while providing additional capacity to the team and enabling senior members to focus on review, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

By delivering reliable reporting and controls, the Finance team supports transparent financial outcomes and strengthens the control environment, while contributing to process improvements including automation and the adoption of data and AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support financial reporting, reconciliations, and control activities, ensuring data is complete, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Provide additional capacity to the team through the execution of core processes, enabling senior team members to focus on review, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Execute standard processes consistently and accurately, contributing to the strengthening of the overall financial control environment.
  • Develop a strong understanding of finance operations, including regulatory requirements and core controls, applying this knowledge in daily activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, supporting the adoption of automation, data-driven approaches, and AI tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay informed on financial standards and industry best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges and regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field required.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.
