Background
Debt capital powers the growth of companies across all industries. When debt capital functions more efficiently, everyone wins.
The financial sector has benefitted from a surge in innovative technologies the past few years, yet debt capital management remains a time-consuming, manual, and error-prone task. It’s why over 90% of our business team brings experience from financial services.
Finley is an all-in-one debt capital management platform that streamlines lender-borrower relationships. We’re built upon the digitization of credit agreements, which contain the details and rules of debt financing transactions. By turning legalese into business logic, Finley is able to automate required reporting, track compliance, calculate interest & fees, and produce real time performance & risk dashboards.
Finley's software helps everyone in the debt capital ecosystem, from corporate borrowers and issuers to credit funds and banks.
The Role
We’re looking for a first full-time Finance hire. This person will work directly with executives and the leadership team to lead and oversee all financial operations and planning. This role will help Finley achieve business outcomes, manage financial risks, optimize treasury operations, and establish the foundations for a high-performing Finance team.
You will have the freedom to establish new processes and structures, and you will work with teams across the company to help Finley execute against the company's growth goals.

- Financial Expertise: You have 4+ years of accounting or FP&A experience. Experience at a startup is preferred but not required.
- Strategic Thinkers: You take a data-driven approach to solving unstructured problems and identifying improvement areas.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You thrive in dynamic settings and are self-driven to add value and solve new challenges.
- Exceptional Analytical Skills: You have an eye for detail, produce high-quality work consistently, and are able to draw insights from the data that is available.
- Collaborators: You like collaborating with teams across the organization. You stay intellectually honest, challenge others without ego, and believe that the best solutions only emerge when everyone brings their perspective to the table.
