The US & Global Revenue Finance department is responsible for providing company wide global revenue reporting for senior level business leaders and executives, macro level analysis of Conde Nast businesses, budgets and forecasts, and other financial information to be utilized in strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Sales Divisions, FP&A and Digital Operation teams, the team is responsible for managing all advertising revenue, business operations and pricing strategy across the organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Manager to join our Global Commercial and Consumer Finance team. This position will play a key role in supporting our US and global business operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing insights into revenue, costs, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration, and will be comfortable leading cyclical macro-level projects that influence business strategy and decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
Oversee the preparation and upload of the US monthly close process related to events and business services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial entries.
Work closely with the Digital team to ensure accurate revenue tagging in Adbook and align financial data with broader commercial and consumer initiatives.
Partner with global markets to enable the effective tracking and forecasting of the global events pipeline. Provide key financial insights to drive decision-making.
Manage the governance of global commercial and consumer financial data. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of financial information across regions. Provide reporting oversight to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Develop and maintain financial models and input templates for new projects. Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, including cost/benefit analysis and return on investment (ROI) evaluations.
Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and presentation of executive-level presentations, ensuring clarity and strategic insights are communicated effectively to senior leadership.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 6 years of finance and/or business operations experience, preferably in media.
Experience in advertising revenue reporting, forecasting and close reconciliation.
BS in Finance or Accounting or similar disciplines.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to quickly collect, interpret, analyze and present financial data in an accurate and concise manner.
Strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong oral/written communication skills, solid presentation skills, and excellent analytical skills are essential.
Self-driven with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a deadline-oriented environment
Proven creative problem-solving and quantitative skills. A strategic thinker who is also proficient in modeling in-depth analyses from the ground up using Excel Power Query.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $100,000-120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
