What you'll be doing
  • Provide strategic analysis and critical management reporting with scenario modeling and detailed financial analysis.
  • Provide financial planning & analysis support to Roku’s Finance and Real Estate teams.
  • Drive long range strategic planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecast cycles.
  • Partner with budget owners to analyze spend drivers as well as manage budget expectations.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and support the month-end close process.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with executives across the company to deliver key insights and recommendations that can help business grow and operate efficiently.
  • Leverage data to build complex financial models and high-quality analytics that supports the internal customer’s ability to make informed business decisions.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variance.
  • Conduct deep dive into financials when observing abnormal trends.
  • Initiate and drive financial analysis to enable Roku’s decision making, execution, and strategic planning at the corporate level.
  • Identify and implement improvements to optimize financial and operational reporting.

You are required to have
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5 years of progressive experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Manager or related occupation.
  • Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:
    • Driving budgeting/forecasting and long-term planning
    • Conducting variance analysis to provide business insight and support
    • Modeling and leveraging data from various sources for strategic decision-making
    • Excel including index, offset, and arrays

Up to one day per week telecommuting may be permitted.

The annual salary for this position for NY only is $179,088 - $187,000.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

Roku fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where teams work in the office Monday through Thursday. Fridays are flexible for remote work except for employees whose roles are required to be in the office five days a week or employees who are in offices with a five day in office policy.
