As a Finance Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the growth and financial performance of RoadieXD™, Roadie’s cross-dock solution. You’ll focus on billing, accounts payable, month-end close, forecasting, and financial analysis for our cross-dock operations. Working closely with Finance, Operations, Accounting, and other cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure accurate billing and financial reporting, uncover insights into operating costs and margins, and improve and automate processes as RoadieXD scales. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics and execution and loves turning numbers into meaningful business impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Review RoadieXD billing data for accuracy and completeness, investigating discrepancies between operational data, billing files, and financial results
  • Assist with month-end close, including preparation of accrual support, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Track vendor invoices and expenses across RoadieXD operations to ensure costs are appropriately recorded and accrued
  • Partner with AP and Operations to resolve missing invoices, coding issues, and approval delays
  • Maintain financial trackers used to reconcile vendor expenses to the general ledger and identify missing or inaccurate charges
  • Support monthly forecasting and annual planning for RoadieXD, including volume, revenue, cost, and margin assumptions
  • Analyze key operating metrics, including revenue per package, cost per package, driver costs, warehouse labor, linehaul, and gross margin, to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Assist with vendor contract and rate-card analysis, including monitoring contractual rebates and forecasting when rebate thresholds will be achieved
  • Support and maintain contracts in Tropic
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and projects that help leadership make informed decisions as our cross-dock operations grow

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools, such as Oracle Cloud, AWS QuickSight, and SQL/Redash
  • A passion for data-driven decision-making and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, work independently, investigate discrepancies, and drive projects to completion
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, including the ability to work with large datasets and reconcile information across multiple systems
