The Opportunity
As a Finance Transformation - Finance Operations Consulting - Senior Associate, you will work alongside CEOs, CFOs, controllers, and treasurers to optimize the structure of their finance functions and enhance their contribution to the business. Within our Finance practice, you will address challenges in achieving appropriate standards of control and support the business through insightful strategies and streamlined processes. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain professional standards. You will focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context.
In this role, you will be part of a team that transforms finance functions by executing strategies to reduce complexity and optimize technology use. You will have the opportunity to guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. By navigating complex situations and embracing ambiguity, you will grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. Responsibilities
- Collaborating with finance leaders to optimize finance function structures and enhance business contributions
- Streamlining processes and utilizing technology to reduce operational complexity and improve efficiency
- Supporting clients in achieving appropriate standards of control and efficient back-office operations
- Executing strategies to deliver cost-effective, quality services to stakeholders
- Analyzing financial data to provide insights and challenge business decisions
- Managing financial operations consulting projects, confirming alignment with client objectives
- Developing financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Reviewing financial statements and reports for accuracy and relevance
- Implementing financial internal controls to safeguard assets and validate compliance
- Guiding and mentoring junior team members to foster professional growth and development
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- At least one of the following: Current pursuit of or an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Experience in record to report, procure to pay, order to cash cycles
- Supporting complex finance transformation initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of finance process optimization and financial systems implementations
- Implementing GenAI and digital finance transformation solutions
- Demonstrating analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in finance operations
- Experience in managerial cost accounting and financial modeling
- Excelling in financial statement analysis and preparation
- Managing financial services operations with a focus on operational excellence
- Embracing change and adapting to evolving industry trends
The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
