Movable Ink is seeking a rockstar, go-getter Accountant, who’s eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role will own both accounting and operational duties within Movable Ink's finance function. To start, the incumbent will manage the entire Accounts Payable process, oversee company wide travel and entertainment approvals, maintain the corporate card program, as well as, support the month end close process. Over time, this critical member of an agile accounting team will allow the organization to scale by taking on ad-hoc projects, analyses and additional accounting processes.

• Manage the entire Accounts Payable process
• Oversee travel and entertainment reimbursement and provide controls to ensure that the policy is adhered by, while acting as the system Admin
• Manage the company's corporate credit card program, as well as prepare the monthly expense journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts (e.g. prepaid, fixed assets, deferred rent)
• Perform various expense reconciliations (e.g. rent, HR benefits)
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Research month over month / quarter over quarter variances for assigned accounts
• Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounts payable and/or general accounting experience
• Ability to execute, follow-up, and ensure attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word) is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a fast-paced, growing startup is a plus
• Experience at a SaaS and/or email advertising company
• Prior experience with Netsuite (strong systems skills)
