Who you are:

You're an accounting professional with experience across a variety of functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.

You're proactive problem solver. You understand the importance of urgency and transaction processing in a timely manner. You enjoy working as a business partner to internal departments, and building effective relationships cross-functionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle accounts receivable billing and collection of payments
  • Monitor AR aging and research and resolve payment discrepancies when necessary
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
  • Maintain deferred revenue schedule in Excel and revenue recognition in Netsuite
  • Interact and communicate professionally with internal and external customers
  • Support Accounts Payable as needed, including processing vendor invoices & vendor payments
  • Support daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions globally
  • Prepare journal entries in compliance in GAAP
  • Maintain and reconcile GL accounts, including deferred revenue, bank reconciliations & credit card reconciliations
  • Ensure all supporting schedules are maintained and up-to-date
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Assist the Controller and other accounting department team members in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, as well as audit preparation
  • Contribute positively to a team environment

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting function, with particular focus on Accounts Receivable
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Experience with NetSuite and Concur
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP & accounting best practices
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to research and collect data from a wide variety of sources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
