The team:
Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.
The opportunity:
The Datadog finance team is rapidly scaling and looking for an AR Analyst. This role will join the billing team to streamline the collections process.
You will:
Notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone.
Monitor overdue accounts, receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts.
Manage incoming billing inquiries and collectability concerns and routing accordingly to revenue, sales, and customer success teams.
Participating in the annual audit and quarterly reviews performed by our auditors, including revenue/AR walkthroughs and the preparation of PBCs
Help customers understand their bills, which vary with usage and plan type
Preparing statements for credit agency if customer fails to respond.
Ad-hoc projects as they arise
You Are:
Someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or a similar degree)
Experienced in 1+ years in a related field (public accounting / SaaS experience a plus)
Data-driven and a number cruncher, experienced in Google Spreadsheet and Excel
A people-person - you love building relationships in-person, over-the-phone, or via email
Excellent in your written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on, love new challenges, and love to improve existing processes
Bonus points:
Salesforce.com experience a plus
NetSuite experience a plus
