Cadre is seeking an Associate Director to assist in all asset management functions across Cadre’s rapidly growing portfolio. The Associate Director will act as a liaison between Cadre and its operating partners with a specific focus on overseeing the execution of the business plan and supporting the day-to-day responsibilities of the asset management team. The position will require close interaction and collaboration with company leadership, acquisitions team, accounting team, investor relations team, and external operating partners.The candidate will need the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment where innovation and creativity are critical components to success.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and implement strategies to optimize the value of Real Estate assets across Cadre’s portfolio
• Work with operating partners to create operating budgets and business plans
• Identify variances to budget and re-align strategy
• Engage in monthly calls and meetings with operating partners to review all property-level financial statements
• Analyze and propose recommendations on refinancings, dispositions, and hold/sell scenarios
• Monitor and track investment level debt, including covenants, escrows, maturities, prepayments, and reporting requirements
• Fully comprehend all deal-related documentation including: debt agreements, JV agreements, major leases, construction contracts and other documentation for existing and new investments
• Generate reports for internal and external use
• Prepare and deliver presentations
• Research market statistics including leasing, sales, and demographic information in conjunction with Cadre’s data science program
• Collaborate closely with the acquisitions and investor relations teams on all aspects of the portfolio
• Participate in investment team initiatives by providing real-time advice, suggestions, and recommendations on new business products and systems

What You Have:

• 5-8 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, asset management, or similar roles
• Strong Command of real estate fundamentals and terminology
• Experience with multifamily and/or office assets
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Excel and the overall modeling process. Experience with Argus a plus
