WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build trusted partner relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal account managers
  • Be a thought-leader, evangelize and drive collaborative, & value-centered approaches to defining and solving data problems
  • Align with Business teams and Senior Leadership to co-develop / support account plans and strategies for data-driven opportunities and business development
  • Help drive revenue within the client / account portfolio by identifying data opportunities and enabling a wide range of data & analytics engagements in financial sector
  • Serve as principal consultant leading complex data transformational initiatives
  • Own and actively contribute to the strategic deliverables, such as vision & mission statements, assessment results, solution visions, strategies, plans & roadmaps within the portfolio of supported data engagement in financial sector
  • Drive data-related pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, responding to RFPs, creating proposals, and helping to close new deals
  • Responsible for team development supporting strategic financial accounts
  • Your performance scorecard will include
    • Impact on Client Value and Business Growth - achieve target revenue goals
    • Impact on Operating the Business - achieve target billable utilization
    • Impact on Our People and Team(s) - contribute to EPAM and Data Practice people initiatives


REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in IT or management consulting
  • Experience driving large data-driven programs
  • Industry experience with banking, trading/data aggregation or similar background
  • Experience building data and analytics business development organizations
  • Experience in pre-sales activities
  • Proven track record of launching and managing complex technology initiatives or large-scale programs (50+ people) working with senior business and IT stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in developing and growing client relationships
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth within the financial account portfolio
  • Strong problem solver and creative thinker
  • Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to your team
  • Awareness of cloud and data technologies and trends with practical experience with one or more major data and analytics technologies
  • Ability to manage customer expectations, present and explain solutions and project deliverables to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to facilitate and drive strategy definition
  • Ability to challenge and influence data solution design and technology selection for enterprise data platforms, warehouses, data lakes, and data science platforms
  • Desire to learn & expand your comfort zone

ADDITIONAL

  • Depending on the position, EPAM employees may need to work at a client worksite or an EPAM office.
