Due to our continued growth we are seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial planning and analysis function and to support the strategic planning efforts of the organization. This includes helping drive growth strategies and recommending operating improvements. The successful candidate will act as a financial expert on cross-functional teams to build and prepare financial models, and lead the annual budget process with the goal of driving profitable growth. This role will report to the VP of Finance and will have direct daily exposure to our business unit GMs and other members of senior management.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget process
  • Update our financial forecast on a quarterly basis
  • Provide monthly analysis and interpretations of actual performance versus plan/forecast and assess the impact on future results
  • Be a thought leader on revenue, cost drivers and KPI’s (e.g. CAC, LTV, Churn etc.)
  • Synthesize data to help drive key strategic/financial decision making
  • Work closely with the accounting team to manage cash; maintain 13-week cash flow forecast
  • Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analyses in fast-paced environment to inform strategies aimed at enhancing profitability and accelerating growth
  • Assist in preparation of materials for Board of Directors and prospective investors
  • Continually improve the Company’s financial management processes by implementing tighter controls around data integrity
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations in order to develop/forecast key metrics and KPI dashboards
  • Support Executive Team in raising capital and corporate development
  • Build and manage the FP&A team
  • Manage special projects and/or ad-hoc requests as needed

What you’ll need to have:

  • 5+ years of finance experience inclusive of 2+ years of FP&A leadership at companies at or above $25M in revenue
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics required, MBA highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS and Ad Tech business models in a highly entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to apply financial analysis in solving business problems and integrating financial discipline into operational decision making
  • Experience forecasting revenue using detailed unit economics
  • Expert advanced Excel modeling skills required (including strong knowledge of macros and VBA)
  • Experience with using and implementing budget management tools (e.g., Intacct or similar ERP, Looker, SFDC, Adaptive Insights)
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally and with senior business leaders
  • Experience “going beyond the numbers” with the ability to be an effective self-starter
  • Ability to discern trends and consider the broad business implications in helping line management identify and exploit opportunities to improve performance
  • A results-oriented, hands-on individual with a strong work ethic
  • Can operate effectively in a collaborative, matrix management environment
