Vimeo is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team and own all of our ongoing international financial operations. This role will be the point of contact and accounting specialist for our international offices, currently in India, Israel, Ukraine, and the UK, and participate in our monthly close and financial reporting processes. The position will report to our Controller.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate and maintain the monthly close process for Vimeo’s international entities (India, Israel, UK and Ukraine)
• Establish and communicate monthly and quarterly financial reporting deliverables to those entities
• Prepare and maintain reconciliations between local GAAP financial statements and US GAAP financial statements
• Ensure transfer pricing requirements are maintained, as well as establish new agreements when applicable; review and approve monthly funding requests from international entities
• Assume responsibility for reporting monthly trial balances of all international entities as well as preparation of quarterly deliverables to Vimeo’s parent company financial reporting team
• Prepare and review various account reconciliations, approve journal entries prepared by accounting staff, rollforwards and variance analysis related to the monthly accounting close
• Account for intercompany recharge expenses; between Vimeo companies as well as with other IAC companies

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• 5+ years of relevant experience managing accounting processes, contributing to a monthly accounting close, and experience with international accounting concepts
• 2+ years of experience managing an accounting team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and operational accounting/financial reporting processes
• Expertise in international reporting, including but not limited to transfer pricing agreements, VAT/GST accounting, income tax withholding
• Experience with Consolidated Financial Statements, Intercompany Eliminations and Foreign Currency Transactions/Translations
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Advanced, Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Conditional formulas)
