About the job
Redesign Health is looking for an Operations Lead charged with managing the day-to-day operations of the venture studio and supporting its mission of building, launching, and scaling new healthcare companies. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will be responsible for implementing systems and processes to build the Redesign platform across a number of areas: Performance Management, Talent & Office Operations, Ideation & Business-Building, and Capital & Partnerships. The ideal candidate has a background in management consulting or investing and is interested in playing a key role in building and supporting transformational consumer health ventures.

Team Mission: Enable ventures to maximize speed-to-scale (and Series A+); enable Redesign Health to build and launch new ventures while continuously improving the value of the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Performance Management
  • Work with co-founders and Studio departments to develop monthly and annual goals and budgets.
  • Develop Reporting & Analytics function; establish dashboard for each OpCo and Studio department (e.g., Growth) to report monthly on key metrics (e.g., cash flow, new customers, CAC).
  • Develop and implement process for performance reviews of OpCos and Studio departments.
  • Work with OpCo CEOs to develop Board reporting packages and presentations.
• Talent & Office Operations
  • Manage staffing of Studio resources and lead year-end reviews.
  • Support Talent function to ensure proper Org design and hiring strategies.
  • Collaborate with People function to develop RH Leadership Development Model.
  • Implement internal NPS score.
  • Support office management and delegate responsibilities as needed (renovation, hardware/software, food, etc.).
  • Manage office manager.
• Capital & Partnerships
  • Support fundraising process for RH; support OpCo CEOs in Series A+ fundraising.
  • Conduct budget reviews and forecasting (in conjunction with RH’s Controller).
  • Manage capital call process for OpCos and facilitate reimbursement to RH (in conjunction with RH’s Controller).
  • Develop relationships with strategic partners at the Studio and OpCo level.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience from a top-tier management consulting firm, private equity fund, or investment bank.
• Superior skills in financial modeling/analysis, in-depth research, quantitative and qualitative survey design, client relationship management, and presentation development.
• Strong business acumen, communication skills and good judgement.
• Can comfortably and efficiently work with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
• Highly collaborative, team-player.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
