Collibra is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team and help build the processes needed to support the rapid growth at the company.   In this new role, you will report to the Tax Manager and will be an integral part of shaping the corporate tax function at Collibra.  Living Collibra’s value of “Embrace and Drive Change”, you’ll be in a hands-on, roll up your sleeves position, improving processes and creating order.

Senior Tax Accountants at Collibra are responsible for:

• Company’s global tax provision under ASC 740, including valuation allowance and uncertain tax positions.
• Supporting tax compliance across multiple tax types in federal, state and foreign jurisdictions,
• Assisting with the collection, analysis and review of financial data used to support tax planning, research, projections, compliance and audits by various tax authorities
• Investigating and resolving any tax authority notifications, domestic and international

You Have:

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate tax experience, including Big 4 accounting firm experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Tax.  CPA certification and/or a Master’s degree is a plus.
• An understanding of ASC 740 principles and relevant financial reporting requirements.
• System savvy and ability to work with different applications and databases; experience with NetSuite, OneSource Tax Provision, Alteryx and/or Avalara, a plus.

Measuring Success:

• Within the first month, you’ll have a good understanding of Collibra’s global structure and resulting compliance and reporting obligations.
• Within the first three months, you’ll have jumped into some key initiatives and have a good working understanding of Collibra’s systems and data sources available to you.
• Within the first six months, you’ll have a key role in the accounting for income tax and tax compliance processes.
