Code3 is looking for a candidate to be part of the Accounting Operations team and to help foster a streamlined environment at an exciting company. This role will report to the Accounting Ops Manager and will own daily accounting operations. This person will be an integral part of the Finance Team. An ideal candidate will be someone who is proactive with a keen eye for details, self-driven and enjoys collaborating with other finance colleagues and business partners throughout the company. The ideal person has a passion for detail and focus with rigor for finding and driving best practice solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Provide detailed analyses and explanation of transactions
  • Maintain regular reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
  • Application of client receipts
  • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing
  • Assist employees with expense reimbursements and tracking
  • Prepare documentation for auditors
  • Record Fixed Asset Accounting entries
  • Responsible for maintaining SOX compliance
  • Prepare documentation and supporting schedules for audits and compliance processes
  • Perform self-checks to spot inconsistencies in accounting work and quickly uncover errors in both computation and application of accounting
    principles
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 1-2 Years of general ledger accounting experience
