Position Summary
This role will be responsible for providing sales finance support to the SGWS East, Central, and West Sales Regions within US Wine and Spirits. As a Financial Analyst, you will participate in all aspects of financial management, including planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis, and will provide primary support to the Manager, Sales Finance (SFM) for these three regions.
In your role, you will assist in building insights and using analytics to inform business decisions within the sales region. Your role is critical to helping build trust between distributors, wholesalers, and Sales teams to sustain growth, profitability, and brand attractiveness for CBI.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the monthly forecasting processes inclusive of volume trend analysis, expense review, and variance analysis against multiple financial metrics. You will be involved in ensuring rate accuracy and capturing the financial impact of relevant risks and opportunities noted by the sales teams.
- Assist as regional support during the annual planning process, particularly relating to key activities tied to rate updates, reporting, and collaborative business planning meetings.
- Participate in monthly close process.
- Assist with accruals and re-class entries as needed.
- Review state-level P&L statements and assist in identifying irregularities that may require follow-up.
- Prepare financial reporting packages and support monthly financial performance reviews.
- Review distributor bank reconciliations, non-price tracking/analysis, and other trade spend-related activities.
- Act as resource to CBI internal teams in matters pertaining to financial performance (i.e. NSV, SGP). This will include preparing adhoc analyses related to financial performance of region, utilizing appropriate systems, and communicating findings. Assist with invoice payment as needed.
- Assist SFM in distributor management. This includes collection, review, and analysis of distributor financial statements (accounts receivables, bank, and other contractual-related statements).
- As a business partner, you will interact frequently with the Commercial Finance team, all levels of the East, Central and West Region sales teams, and with distributor personnel. The ability to work cross-functionally is important and is essential to this position.
- Assist with sales reporting and monthly business review presentation prep., as needed.
Qualifications Required
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, or accounting.
- 3-5 years combined experience in financial analysis and accounting. Experience working with a sales organization is preferred.
Technical:
- Proven analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of key finance and accounting concepts.
- Strong PC proficiency, including Excel. Knowledge of planning and financial reporting systems (Anaplan, SAP, MicroStrategy, Circana (IRI)).
Professional:
- Excellent communication and interaction skills, both oral and written.
- Solid financial acumen and analytical/problem solving ability.
- Strong customer service orientation is required with ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Requires one to be a team player with a positive attitude, highly motivated, and a change-oriented individual able to work with a variety of people at all levels.
- Ability to be a self-starter, capable of working independently or in a team.

$63,200.00 - $92,800.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
