The Opportunity
As a Financial Risk & Markets - Sales & Trading Operations Manager you will lead client support work focused on improving sales and trading operations, streamlining processes, and addressing pain points across operational workflows within our Risk & Regulatory practice. As a Manager you will coach teams, manage performance, and guide workstreams through planning, execution, and delivery while navigating ambiguity and using sound judgment to support client needs. In this role at PwC, you will apply your knowledge of operations consulting and customer service to identify opportunities, coordinate deliverables, and support service model improvements that help clients operate more effectively.
Responsibilities
- Leading sales and trading operations workstreams across client service engagements
- Managing client expectations, project scope, timelines, and deliverables for operational support initiatives
- Coaching team members on trade lifecycle processes, operational controls, and service delivery models
- Analyzing workflows, identifying process gaps, and developing recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Applying business process modeling and root cause analysis to address recurring operational issues
- Using market insight, financial risk knowledge, and industry trend analysis to inform operational recommendations
- Coordinating service delivery activities across teams to support issue resolution and day-to-day execution
- Leveraging digital tooling, business data analytics, and AI fluency to improve reporting and decision making
- Reviewing work products, providing feedback, and developing junior staff capability
- Managing difficult discussions with clients and internal stakeholders while addressing risks, conflicts, and corrective actions
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Biology/Biomedical Sciences, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Financial Mathematics/Quantitative Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Organizational Management/Behavior, Project/Technology Management, Psychology/Social Psychology, Risk Management/Insurance
- Demonstrating sales and trading operations experience in financial risk environments
- Managing client service workstreams across trade lifecycle activities
- Coordinating project planning, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Mentoring team members while reviewing work and providing feedback
- Applying technology and analytics to improve operational processes
The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
