The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. We focus on our clients' overall financial needs, with consideration and respect for their total relationship with Wells Fargo.

In this position responsibilities include providing Financial Services sector specific insights, value added idea generation and market color to all areas of a varied client base including portfolio managers, analysts and the trading desk.  Actively partner with and market the firm’s research analysts with a specific focus on the sector of expertise.  The role will include selling various equity products and the broader platform to client base.  Serve as sector expert and liaison for all Capital Markets related activities.  Work cross platform with generalist sales & trading to drive incremental sector market share.

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 10+ years of experience in equity research sales/specialty sales/research
  • 8+ years Financials Specialist Sector Sales experience.
  • Strong Financials Services client relationships and ability to expand client relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with clients
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Job Expectations:

  • Up to 10% travel
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 86 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 87 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
