The Team:

Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our financial systems stack. You’ll play a key role in improving how Finance operates, delivering scalable solutions and seamless integrations while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and implement solutions leveraging NetSuite native functionality (Workflows, SuiteScript, Saved Searches), optimizing for scalability, maintainability, and user experience
  • Assess complexity vs. impact of customizations and integrations, recommending thoughtful, risk-balanced solutions that minimize tech debt and align with our long-term systems strategy
  • Lead end-to-end projects across Accounting, Revenue, Procurement, FP&A, and other G&A teams—from requirements gathering through testing, documentation, and deployment
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to processes, data integrity, and system performance; own the issue from discovery through resolution
  • Act as a thought partner for finance stakeholders to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and expand system capabilities in line with business needs
  • Train and support end users, increasing self-sufficiency while driving adoption of newly implemented features or enhancements

Who You Are:

  • Job Specific:
    • Hands-on functional experience with financial processes in NetSuite
    • Solid understanding of databases and SQL
    • Familiarity with system integration capabilities in NetSuite, including connections to tools such as Zip, FloQast, and Pigment
    • Proven track record of designing and delivering integrations between SaaS systems
    • Minimum of 2 years experience working on ERP platforms (preferably NetSuite) in a multi-entity organizational environment
  • Soft Skills:
    • Comfortable discussing accounting and finance impacts across cross-functional teams
    • Strong investigative and diagnostic capabilities
    • Skilled at building collaborative relationships and setting clear expectations with both technical teams and finance stakeholders
    • Demonstrated experience influencing strategy and execution within finance systems initiatives
    • Possesses a growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field is required

Bonus points:

  • NetSuite Certified Developer/Administrator or Consultant preferred
  • Public Company/Audit/SOD and SOX Experience
  • Experience with Tableau or Other Business Intelligence (BI) Tools

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits & Growth:

  • Generous and competitive global and US benefits
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan
  • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities
  • Product training to develop an in-depth understanding of our product and space
  • Best in breed onboarding
  • Internal mentor and buddy program cross-departmentally
  • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
