About Vise

Vise is the AI investment platform for firms that want to scale. One platform builds, manages and explains a personalized portfolio for every client, across all asset classes and designed for better tax outcomes.

Samir Vasavada and Runik Mehrotra founded Vise in 2016 on a bet against the robo-advisor: clients want a person to talk to about their money. The real problem was that advisors had to choose between a generic portfolio for many clients and a bespoke one for a few. Vise exists so every advisor can give every client the bespoke version.

Today hundreds of wealth firms run $152B+ in platform assets on Vise, from independent RIAs to enterprise firms like Wealth Enhancement and NewEdge, alongside asset managers like BlackRock and Dimensional. We're based in New York at 521 Broadway.

The role

We're hiring a Content Writer to own what Vise says and how it sounds, across our brand channels, sales collateral, website and executives' voices. You'll write most of it yourself and build the system that lets us publish more of it without losing quality.

Our founders and leaders have strong points of view on where wealth management is going. Our product team ships constantly, and our clients include some of the largest wealth firms in the country. The stories are there. We need someone who can turn them into writing that advisors actually read, at a steady weekly cadence, in voices that sound unmistakably like the people posting.

This is a writer's role first. You'll sit in marketing, work daily with our founders, investment team and product team, and use AI throughout your workflow to research, draft and edit faster.

What you'll do
  • Write for our executives. Draft LinkedIn and X posts for our co-heads Samir and Runik and other leaders, each in their own voice. You'll learn how each of them thinks well enough that your drafts need only light edits.
  • Run the weekly social engine. Scan industry news every week, pick the stories that matter to advisors, and turn them into posts for the Vise brand and our executives. Keep a queue of evergreen posts ready.
  • Write long-form. Blog posts, product launch announcements, research write-ups and our client newsletter. Take a technical topic like daily tax-loss harvesting or a long-short strategy and make it clear to a busy advisor.
  • Tell client stories. Interview advisors at firms on Vise and turn what they built into case studies with a clear thesis, a real quote and a result.
  • Write for sales and the website. Own the copy in our collateral: one-pagers, pitch decks, product sheets, case study PDFs, event materials, email campaigns and website pages. Work with sales and client teams to learn which questions advisors ask most, and make sure every piece answers them.
  • Make content visual. Brief and produce charts, short videos and graphics with design, so posts lead with something worth stopping for.
  • Partner with compliance. We're an SEC-registered adviser, so marketing claims need care. You'll learn the rules and write copy that clears review without going flat.
  • Own the system. Keep our voice guides, content calendar and AI writing workflows current, and track what's working so each month is better than the last.
What you bring
  • 1–2+ years writing professionally, in B2B marketing, financial media, journalism or ghostwriting
  • A portfolio that shows range: short social posts, long-form pieces and at least one example written in someone else's voice
  • Comfort with financial topics. You don't need to be a CFA, but you're curious about how portfolios, taxes and the wealth management business work, and you ask good questions until you understand them
  • Speed with judgment. You can turn a breaking news story into a sharp post the same morning, and you know when something isn't good enough to ship
  • Daily use of AI writing tools, with your own opinions about where they help and where they make writing worse
  • Clear, low-ego collaboration with senior executives who will push back on your drafts

Nice to have

  • Experience in wealth management, fintech or at an RIA
  • Experience writing under financial marketing compliance rules
