This position is designed to support multiple teams by addressing paper-based and electronic documentation and maintenance development challenges, mentoring team members adherence to process discipline to meet rigorous verified deliverable standards. The candidate will serve not only as a subject matter expert for our documentation efforts but will also be responsible for fleet interfacing activities such as SWS Weeks and Demonstration and Shakedown Operations (DASO) for engineering management products, as well as maintenance program modernization and management interfacing. Additionally, the selected candidate will also act as a conduit between technical leads at our Rockville location and tasking being accomplished at our Cape Canaveral facility. This candidate would also provide essential support in the creation, maintenance, and improvement of documentation across various technical and non-technical areas.
The candidate will engage with team members creating, editing, and the configuration management of technical documentation including user guides, standard processes, programmatic manuals; consistent collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation and maintenance planning is clear, concise, and developed using common production process assets where possible. The candidate will lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging proper version control and process consistency across all program documentation and maintenance areas.
The candidate must process a mastery in communicating complex technical concepts as a mentor to guide team members, aiding their understanding in documentation and maintenance type relationships, interfaces with contractor partners developing similar content, testing, documentation best practices and workflow execution, while also communicating key information to current fleet customers.
