Job Description
As an Associate in F&O Commodity Sales and Execution, you will be responsible for helping support, maintain and develop key commodity client relationships throughout the Americas. You will work with trading, research and multiple other teams to provide comprehensive client coverage, including but not limited to facilitating and assisting with the execution of client transactions, fulfilling client requests for market updates and providing clients with market intelligence.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the trade execution process including execution of listed commodity futures and options, trade booking, and general execution/sales back-up across the desk
  • Provide comprehensive client coverage including the provision of market information, thoughts and trade ideas
  • Partner with other members of F&O, broader sales and trading colleagues to handle client requests and facilitate order flow
  • Develop and monetize your own client relationships whilst supporting existing relationships

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
  • Product and fundamental understanding within our core listed commodity markets
  • high degree of interest in learning about commodities and our products
  • Detail oriented self-starter who possesses strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong quantitative mind with the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Prior working experience and knowledge within commodities working within in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
