Foreperson - Recycled Asphalt Plant

We hire on attitude, cultural & values alignment first, and actively train and develop our people’s skills and qualifications.  The position we are immediately looking to recruit is for a new Foreperson team member at our Brooklyn RAP (Recycled Asphalt Production) site. 

This role will primarily involve undertaking the movement of recycled asphalt product (via front end loaders, excavators, crushers and screens) around the yard and preparing for transport to our asphalt production sites. General labouring duties, site / plant maintenance and housekeeping will ensure your days are full and fast.

Candidates from related industries are encouraged to apply, as are people who have transferable skills and experience with strong team mentality and a willingness to learn who can think on their feet (ongoing training will be provided).

The successful candidate will:

• Have a strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards
• Be a focused, reliable team player
• Work un-supervised
• Have the ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to support the Supervisor on projects and confidently step in to cover their role during periods of absence.

• Experience operating machinery
• Front End Loader – sales experience
• Excavator
• Mobile crushing and screening experience
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
