The Forward Deployed Engineer will lead solution design for enterprise opportunities, implement proof of concepts, and support client integrations.

We focus on transforming the tendering process for industrial manufacturing companies through the power of AI agents. Our platform improves how companies manage RFX workflows through better data quality, faster response times, and a more consistent customer experience.
We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to help lead the next phase of our growth. This role is central to how Ranger wins and expands enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and solution design for complex enterprise opportunities
- Identify the workflows where Ranger can deliver the highest operational and commercial impact
- Scope PoCs with clear success criteria, data requirements, integration approach, timeline, and adoption logic
- Build proposals and executive-facing solution narratives with clarity and credibility
- Implement PoC with integration to the Ranger platform and continues to support the customer's technical needs throughout the entire lifecycle
- Feed client insight back into Ranger’s product and platform evolution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise solution design, implementation, consulting, and/or software engineering
- Ability to translate customer's business logic and unclean data into suitable structured schema
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience on driving projects to completion by proactively managing stakeholder engagement and maintaining momentum even when faced with unknown obstacles
- Basic knowledge on bidding/procurement and technical workflows
- Willingness to travel 20-25% for on-site deployments and client support activities
