Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often specialists and medical services are overwhelmed with referrals and the painstakingly manual process it takes to qualify your referral prevents them from getting around to it on time, or sometimes at all. Tennr prevents these delays and denials by making sure every referral gets where it needs to go, with the right info, at the right time. Powered by RaeLM™ Tennr reads, extracts, and acts on every piece of patient information so providers can capture more referrals, slash denials, and reduce delays.
Role DescriptionWe’re looking for a Forward-Deployed Product Lead to own and build the product offering that drives Tennr’s success in our rapidly growing vertical of drug-delivery healthcare providers. This role is accountable for making sure we win in this space by understanding drug-delivery providers in depth, identifying the highest-impact problems they face, and building the solutions that materially improve their operations and patient outcomes.
This is not a typical PM role. You will often operate directly on the front lines with Ambulatory Infusion Centers and Specialty Pharmacies - you will live in their workflows, develop a precise understanding of how their workflows actually run and why they break, and use those insights to define Tennr’s product thesis for this market. You will partner closely with Forward-Deployed Engineers to build and ship vertical-specific capabilities quickly, test prototypes in the field, and iterate aggressively until you have nailed the right solution.
You will also partner closely with Tennr’s core platform teams - Make the latest platform advancements work on the front lines, build vertical-specific solutions when there’s a gap, and guide the migration of vertical-built features back into the core where appropriate.
Responsibilities
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Tennr’s Drugs vertical
Embed with AICs and Specialty Pharmacies to map workflows end-to-end, and understand root cause behind friction and operational bottlenecks
Identify and prioritize the most important product opportunities, focusing on the problems that most materially shift provider outcomes and Tennr’s business
Partner closely with Forward-Deployed Engineers to quickly and iteratively ship products and prototypes; Aggressively test these products in the field to build conviction
Act as the bridge between the Drugs vertical and the core platform, applying platform primitives to your problem space, advocating for enhancements where needed, and guiding vertical-built products back to core when appropriate.
Drive measurable customer and commercial outcomes, ensuring the Drugs product materially improves provider operations and strengthens Tennr’s competitive positioning.
Qualifications
Forward-deployed mindset with experience working directly with customers to dig into problems, deploy solutions, and validate them in real operational environments.
Strong product sense with the ability to translate complex and ambiguous field signal into a clear product thesis, strategy, and roadmap that drives measurable customer and business outcomes
Deep operational curiosity and comfort digging into messy workflows to understand what is actually happening, why it breaks, and what must be true for it to work reliably.
Fast, iterative execution — track record of shipping quickly, learnign with customers and refine quickly
High ownership and urgency — thrives in low-structure environments; motivated by outcomes, not process; accountable for commercial and customer impact.
Willingness to travel (25–75%) to stay close to customer workflows and ensure solutions succeed in the field
Nice to have
Familiarity with React, HTML, Tailwind, and React flow
Experience in designing for developer tools
Familiarity with workflow automation tools
