We're building out the founding go-to-market team for our accountant channel and are seeking a Founding Account Executive to own the full sales cycle with accounting firms and help build a repeatable partner acquisition motion.
You will
- Become a product expert and run discovery, demos and close with accounting firm owners and partners
- Source and qualify accounting firms through outbound prospecting, conferences, referrals and inbound leads
- Work with the CEO and Head of Growth to define and build a repeatable Accountant acquisition playbook
- Track and optimize key metrics like conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and pipeline growth
- Manage the pre-sale Accountant lifecycle from first call to signed Accountant to successful onboarding handoff
- Be the voice of the accountant and advocate with the Product team
We're looking for someone who
- Proven 3-5+ years track record of meeting and exceeding sales quota targets
- SaaS and startup experience; you take ownership and are comfortable working and adapting in a fast-paced and flexible environment
- Experience in full-cycle sales; bonus if you have previous experience working with accounting firms
- Extraordinary written and verbal communication, presentation, and product demonstration skills
Bonus if
- Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services
- Advanced technical qualifications or experience (e.g. CPA, EA, Tax LLM)
- Experience with partner or channel sales motions
What we offer
- The OTE range for this role is CAD $200,000 - CAD $250,000
