About Us

At Medex Finance, we’re building the rails that help rural healthcare providers get paid faster. Small clinics, therapy practices, and ambulance companies are drowning in slow reimbursements, confusing insurance claims, and cash flow gaps. We’re fixing that with a combination of AI-powered billing software and financial infrastructure that advances cash against claims. We’re backed by early traction, pilots with providers, and an ambitious roadmap.

The Role

We’re looking for a founding Account Executive to own the entire sales cycle — from prospecting to close. This is a pure hunting role where you’ll open new markets, win our first scaled customers, and shape the playbook for how Medex grows. As our first sales hire, you’ll have a direct line to the management team, massive career growth potential, and an outsized voice in the trajectory of the company.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle: pipeline generation, qualification, demos, negotiations, and closing.

     
  • Focus initial efforts on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) companies, then expand to healthcare practices (rural hospitals/clinics, EMS, therapy, DME, etc.) and strategic partnerships.

     
  • Hunt net-new business with creativity and persistence — building your own pipeline while collaborating on go-to-market campaigns.

     
  • Drive toward aggressive goals: >$1M ARR in new customer revenue and financing volume.

     
  • Work closely with the management team to refine messaging, evolve the sales process, and shape Medex’s go-to-market strategy.

     
  • Partner cross-functionally with product and engineering to bring customer feedback directly into the roadmap.

     
  • Build the foundation for a sales organization — with the opportunity to hire, mentor, and scale a team around you as Medex grows.

Who You Are

  • Proven track record selling into healthcare SaaS / healthtech, ideally with experience closing CFOs, RCM leaders, or similar buyer personas.

     
  • Startup/early-stage DNA: you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and know how to build pipeline and close deals without a big machine behind you.

     
  • Strong network within the healthcare provider or RCM ecosystem.

     
  • Comfortable leading high-stakes conversations about complex workflows, financial products, and compliance-heavy environments.

     
  • Bonus: background in fintech, factoring, or healthcare finance.

Compensation: $120K–$180K OTE (50/50 split) + .5%-1%% equity
