AI Frontdesk | NYC Preferred | National Travel | Full-time

Summary

We’re hiring a high-energy, highly charismatic AE to own our fastest-growing acquisition channel: in-person trade shows and conferences. This role is 40–60% national travel, deeply hands-on, and perfect for someone who loves being on the road, talking to people all day, and converting live demos into real revenue.

About Us

AI Frontdesk is building the AI operating system for America’s 33 million small businesses. What began as AI receptionists has evolved into the first full Customer Revenue Engine for SMBs - turning every call, text, and booking into actionable intelligence that drives measurable growth. We grew 10x last year, continue to grow 20%+ month-over-month, and raised $3M from Pear VC earlier this year. One big unlock to our growth has been a channel most startups overlook: in-person events. Trade shows have become one of our highest ROI engines, and now we need a dedicated founding team member to help us scale it.

The Role

As our Field Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of AI Frontdesk across the country. While our product team builds from NYC, you’ll be on the front lines - flying almost every week, setting up booths, pulling people into demos, and turning conversations into pipeline. This is a high-travel, high-visibility, high-impact role. Ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves meeting people, and wants to be part of a team that moves quickly and rewards performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Event Circuit: Travel to 4–6 trade shows per month across the U.S. Expect consistent weekly flights, hotels, and long days on the event floor.

  • Run High-Volume Demos: Engage attendees, stop foot traffic, and deliver 50+ short demos per day to showcase our AI voice + text capabilities.

  • Manage Full-Cycle Event Execution: Handle everything from booth setup and teardown to lead capture, follow-up coordination, and reporting.

  • Network Everywhere: Seek out breakfasts, after-hours mixers, hotel lobby conversations—wherever business happens.

  • Deliver Market Intelligence: Bring back real-time customer objections, insights, and feature requests to help shape product and GTM strategy.

  • Represent the Brand: Serve as the frontline voice of AI Frontdesk, demonstrating professionalism, clarity, and confidence.

Who You Are
  • 2+ Years of AE Experience: You are a good fit for this role if you've spent at least 2 years as an Account Executive selling software. Although not required, we really value in-person experience such as events or door-to-door.

  • Energized by Travel: Comfortable living on the road several weeks per month. You know how to manage your energy, health, and routines while traveling.

  • Magnetic Communicator: You connect with anyone, anywhere. You’re comfortable initiating conversations and performing nonstop demos.

  • Independent & Reliable: You’ll often be working thousands of miles away from HQ—able to self-manage and make smart calls in the moment.

  • Tech-Friendly Problem Solver: Able to run live demos, handle basic A/V troubleshooting, and quickly learn new tools.

  • Hands-On & Gritty: Not above carrying boxes, hauling gear, or standing for long stretches. You understand that events are a full-contact sport.

What We Offer
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance-based commission tied to event ROI.

  • Equity: Meaningful early-stage equity package.

  • Fully Covered Travel: All flights, hotels, meals, and on-the-road expenses covered.

  • High Visibility: Your performance directly impacts revenue and is seen by founders and investors.

  • Fast-Growth Culture: Work directly with the founding team, gain exposure to deal strategy, negotiation, and enterprise psychology.

  • Uncapped Upside: Strong performers quickly become indispensable, and compensation scales accordingly.

  • Network Expansion: Meet thousands of SMB owners and decision-makers; build a powerful network in a single year.

Travel Requirement

This role requires 40–60% national travel. Expect frequent flights, multi-day events, and consecutive travel weeks during peak seasons
