As the first Account Executive, you'll lead the full sales cycle, develop outbound campaigns, and craft narratives for enterprise contracts. You will also design the go-to-market playbook and build a revenue engine while working with both tradespeople and executives.

A Note From The Founder

We got to ~$XXM ARR with zero salespeople. Every deal to date has been founder-led.

We just hired our first AE in December. You’d be our second.

We receive a lot of inbound, but historically never had bandwidth for outbound. We need builders who can take what's worked and help scale it systematically.

If you want a polished sales org, this isn't it. If you want to build one—this is once-in-a-career.

About Probook

Probook is the AI “Front Office” for the home services industry, transforming how plumbing, HVAC, and electrical businesses operate.

Our work’s impact is real. Dispatching the right tech to the right job can mean the difference between a $300 service call and a $20,000 system replacement. Proactive outbound keeps revenue steady even when demand dries up. And answering every call on time ensures homeowners convert before looking elsewhere. Probook unifies these workflows into a consistent CX, giving businesses a single, scalable place to run their entire operation.

The Mandate
  1. Close ARR Own the full sales cycle. Engage prospects, demonstrate value, and convert high-intent accounts. Help us scale to $XX ARR.

  2. Maximize Territory Yield We have a clearly defined, high-propensity target list. Treat every account as high-value. Execute thoughtful deal cycles where no leads get burnt. These customers unlock massive referrals and expansion potential.

Who You Are
  • Subject Matter Expert: You approach sales as a consultant. You obsess over understanding the customer's world—their pain, their business, their reality—not just the product. You can sit on the same side of the table as the prospect. You’re a peer.

  • Relationship Builder: You build genuine relationships at all stages of the funnel. You're a master at multithreading and know how to navigate complex buying committees.

  • Persistent Without Being Annoying: Your follow-ups feel natural and value-add, not forced. Prospects actually want to hear from you.

  • Operationally Rigorous: Highly organized with strong CRM discipline. You keep clean data, know your numbers, and never miss a touchpoint.

  • Builder Mentality: You thrive in early-stage environments. You don't need a perfect playbook—you want to help build one.

Requirements
  • 2-6 years of full-cycle sales experience in B2B SaaS (Series A-C stage preferred)

    • Founding 0-1 experience strongly preferred

  • Enterprise sales chops: Experience selling high-value, vertical solutions ($75k+ ACV) to non-technical buyers or operational leaders

  • Proven performance: Track record of being a top 3 company-wide performer and consistently hitting or exceeding quota

  • NYC based: Excited to work in-office 5 days/week in our high-intensity, high-collaboration culture

Why Join Probook?
  • Founding Role: You're our second AE. Full ownership to build the function from scratch with zero bureaucracy and direct CEO access.

  • The Market: A $700B industry with clear tailwinds: AI adoption, labor shortages, and generational transitions creating demand for operational modernization. We are defining the category, not fighting for share.

  • The Traction: $XXM ARR in 18 months. Cash-flow positive. Product-market fit is established; we are now optimizing for scale.

  • The Backing: Funded by Sequoia and a16z—partners who invest in category leaders.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: Strong base salary and uncapped commission structure.

  • Equity: Meaningful equity stake— you are a founding member of the GTM team.

  • Health: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • Lifestyle: Monthly food stipend, and unlimited office snacks.

  • Access: Direct access to world-class investors and advisors.
