First Asia hire building Meow's pipeline from scratch across Singapore, Hong Kong and APAC. Learn the product in NYC, run events and conferences, source warm introductions, perform discovery calls, pitch skeptical crypto finance buyers, close accounts, and feed market feedback to the NYC team to refine the go-to-market playbook.

About Meow

Meow is business banking built for crypto companies. FDIC-insured accounts through our banking partners, real yield on idle cash, and support for the offshore entities most banks won't touch. You can also send and receive crypto straight from your fiat checking balance and it converts automatically, so you never have to hold crypto on your balance sheet. That's a real edge in jurisdictions like Singapore.

Companies like Solana, Optimism, QuickNode, Starknet, and DoubleZero already run on Meow. More social proof at meow.com/for-crypto.

We've built the product. We've got customers. Now we need someone to go plant the flag in Asia.

About the role

This is our first hire on the ground in Asia. You'll spend your first two months in NYC learning the product, the pitch, and how we win. Then you're boots on the ground in Singapore or Hong Kong (we'll figure out the base together) building pipeline from scratch in the most important crypto region on earth.

You won't get a playbook handed to you, because there isn't one yet. You're writing it. Token2049 is in your backyard. The founders, CFOs, and treasurers we want as customers are at the same dinners you are. Your job is to get in the room, build real relationships, and turn them into accounts.

What you'll do
  • Build pipeline from zero across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the wider APAC crypto scene

  • Work the conference and event circuit. Show up, follow up, and turn handshakes into meetings

  • Ask for intros the smart way. You're not just blasting cold DMs, you're getting warm paths through people who trust you

  • Run discovery and pitch Meow to skeptical, sharp crypto buyers who care about social proof and trust, not feature lists

  • Feed everything you learn back to the team in NYC so we sharpen the pitch as we go

What we're looking for
  • 2 to 5 years in sales or BD, with quota you actually carried and hit

  • You get finance and crypto. You can explain stablecoins, yield, and why FDIC insurance matters without reading off a sheet

  • Hungry. You'd rather figure it out than wait to be told

  • Well connected, or able to build a network fast and thoughtfully. You know how to earn an intro and not burn the relationship

  • Comfortable being the only Meow person in the room and owning it

You may be
  • An AE or BD rep who's been crushing it and wants to build something instead of running someone else's territory

  • Someone already in the Asia crypto scene who knows the founders, funds, and group chats

  • A former founder or early employee who's sold, hustled, and wants to do 0 to 1 again

  • Someone with a finance background who fell into crypto and never looked back

This isn't the right fit if
  • You want a defined territory and a list of warm leads on day one

  • You think BD means waiting for marketing to send you something or chasing inbounds

  • You'd rather not get on a plane, go to the dinner, or send the follow up

Why now

Asia is where the next wave of crypto companies is being built, and almost none of them have a long term banking partner with crypto rails. We're early, the product works, and the region is wide open. Whoever takes this seat sets the bar for every Asia hire after them.

If that sounds like your kind of problem, let's talk.
