As the Founding Content Marketer at LTV.ai, you'll create and execute a comprehensive content strategy, manage a newsletter, contribute to social media channels, and develop community engagement, all while driving brand awareness in the e-commerce sector.
The summary above was generated by AI

At LTV.ai, we're redefining email marketing for e-commerce brands by automating a lot of the day-to-day manual grunt work that goes into email marketing, from segmentation, to creating campaigns without designers, to personalization.

While increasing LTV and driving measurable growth, we help brands stay focused on what matters most - the customer.

Why join us?

We're a fast-moving team building a high-growth company that's transforming the e-commerce industry. As our founding content marketer, you'll own the entire content engine from day one — building it from scratch and shaping how the market hears about LTV.ai.

You'll have a rare canvas: real customers (Fabletics, Sur La Table, J. Jill, Backcountry, Twillory, Swim USA), real results (15-20% lifts in email sales, 70% reduction in operational expenses, 131.3% NRR), and a team that just closed a growth round to go bigger, faster.

What you'll build

This is a build-from-scratch role. You're not inheriting a content calendar — you're designing the engine. You'll own LTV.ai's voice across every customer-facing surface and turn our product velocity, customer wins, and AI-native point of view into a content motion that compounds.

  • Launch and run a weekly newsletter — the must-read for e-commerce retention operators

  • Build a recurring roundup of the best emails sent through LTV.ai, surfacing real campaigns, results, and creative from our customer base

  • Turn every product launch into a story — feature summaries, release notes, and announcements that show why it matters, not just what shipped

  • Own the LinkedIn and broader social strategy end-to-end: founder content, company channels, and a repeatable playbook for shipping daily

  • Stand up and grow our customer community — a place where the best e-commerce retention operators come to learn, share, and level up

  • Develop our content pillars, distribution model, and editorial standards so the engine keeps running as we scale

  • Partner with sales, CS, and product to mine wins, customer stories, and product moments worth telling

What we're looking for (ideally)
  • 4+ years in content marketing, brand, or editorial roles — ideally with time at an early-stage startup where you built something from zero

  • Founder mentality — you're energized by a blank page and have a track record of standing up content engines, not just operating inherited ones

  • Deep understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and retention channels — you know what operators actually care about and can write to them, not at them

  • Sharp writer with a real voice — you can move fluidly between a punchy LinkedIn post, a thoughtful newsletter, a product announcement, and a customer story

  • Proven LinkedIn and social instincts — you've grown company or founder accounts and understand what makes content travel in B2B today

  • AI-first operator — your default instinct is to use AI to research, draft, edit, repurpose, and ship at 10x the volume without sacrificing quality. You treat AI tooling as a force multiplier, not a novelty

  • Community builder — you've grown an audience, run a Slack/Discord/Circle community, or built a program that gets customers talking to each other

  • Analytical and self-directing — you set your own goals, instrument your work, and double down on what's working

  • Strong taste — you can tell the difference between content that performs and content that just fills a calendar, and you don't ship the latter

Compensation + Benefits
  • Base depends a lot on the person but we reward A players

  • Equity included

If you're curious, ambitious, and hungry to build something big, feel free to email our founder directly [email protected] - we'd love to hear from you.
