Bonfire Analytics | Healthcare GTM Insights Platform

Bonfire's mission is to accelerate the adoption of healthcare technology and treatments for the patients who need them most. We do this by fueling healthtech companies (including digital health, medical device, and biotech) in their commercialization and go-to-market strategies through leveraging advanced analytics built on top of comprehensive, feature-rich datasets.

About the Role

We're looking for a Founding Customer Strategy Lead to join our lean and formidable team as one of our earliest hires. You'll own a portfolio of our customers end to end. You'll be the person they know and trust: leading calls, understanding what they're trying to accomplish, and turning our healthcare data into answers that move their business.

You don't need to be a data scientist, and you don't need a healthcare background. You need to be great with people, comfortable with data, fluent with AI tools, and eager to learn the rest. You'll have an outsized impact from day one.

Your Responsibilities
  • Own customer relationships and strategy - serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers; set the plan for each account and lead onboarding, training, and check-ins that customers actually look forward to

  • Turn questions into answers - scope customer requests, work with our data to pull the numbers, and package findings into clear, customer-ready reports and presentations

  • Work AI-first - use AI tools as a core part of how you analyze data and build deliverables, and help customers get the most out of Bonfire's AI-powered products

  • Close the loop - bring what you hear from customers back to the team to shape our product and analytical playbooks

Your Experience
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing role (customer success, account management, consulting, strategy & operations, or an analytical role with heavy customer exposure)

  • Comfortable working with data: a working knowledge of SQL (or proof you can pick it up fast), and the instinct to sanity-check a number before it goes to a customer

  • AI-forward by habit: you already use AI tools daily to work faster and better, and you're excited to keep pushing what they can do

  • Excellent communicator with genuine customer empathy; you build relationships naturally and explain technical topics in plain language

  • Eager to learn and grow at an early-stage startup: you want real ownership and you pick up new skills fast

  • No healthcare experience required; what matters is curiosity and the ability to learn the domain quickly

Our Offer
  • 💰 Competitive salary + equity along with benefits

  • 🚀 Significant ownership with autonomy to shape how we deliver value to customers

  • 📈 High career growth potential as Bonfire grows

  • 🏙️ In-person in our NYC, FiDi office preferred (the rest of the team is based in New York); open to remote for the right candidate

  • ❤️ Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on improving healthcare outcomes
